Red Grape Juice / Healthy Summer Drink

Please watch my video on the preparation of Red Grape Juice, a healthy and nutritious summer drink by visiting the following link to my YouTube channel.

Red grape juice is a beverage made from red grapes, which are rich in various vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. To make red grape juice, fresh red grapes are typically crushed and the juice is extracted. The juice can be enjoyed as-is or processed further to remove any solid particles, seeds, or skins, depending on personal preferences.

As with any fruit juice, moderation is key due to its natural sugar content. While red grape juice can be a healthy beverage choice when consumed in moderation, excessive consumption may contribute to an increase in calorie and sugar intake. If you have any specific health conditions or concerns, it’s always best to consult with a healthcare professional or a registered dietitian.

First let us know the ingredients required to prepare Red Grapes Juice.

INGREDIENTS:

(1) 250 grams of Red Grapes
(2) 1 teaspoon of Normal Salt for cleaning the grapes
(3) Water for cleaning the grapes
(4) One fourth teaspoon of Pepper Powder
(5) One fourth teaspoon of Rock Salt. Add as per taste required.
(6) 3 tablespoons of Honey. Add as per taste required.
(7) Half inch sized Ginger.
(8) Water for juice blending, optional.
(9) Ice cubes, optional.
(10) Mint leaves for garnishing, Optional.

METHOD:

(1) CLEANING THE GRAPES :
Before starting to clean the grapes, make sure they are not cold, but are at room temperature. That’s because, then it becomes easier for the dust and dirt to get rid from the surface of the fruit.
Separate the grapes from their stem and collect them in a bowl. Discard the rotten and over ripe grapes.
Add water in the bowl, enough to immerse the grapes completely.
Now, add 1 teaspoon of Salt.
Allow the Salt to dissolve in the water and then gently rub the grapes and wash them well.
This washing process will take about 10 minutes, but is very necessary before extracting the juice from these red grapes.
Once done with the cleansing, drain the water used for cleaning.
Rinse the grapes with just water in a similar way for two more times.
Here are the clean Red Grapes. They weight 250 grams.

(2) EXTRACTING JUICE FROM THE GRAPES:

Take a red grape and chop in the middle and check the seeds. Deseed if you are allergic to them or else let them remain if you are okay with juice from grapes with seeds.
Seeds have immense health benefits, but I have deseeded the grapes as I have some allergies due to them.

Put the Red Grapes into the jar of the blender.
Add Ginger of 1 inch size.
Add one fourth teaspoon of Rock Salt.
Add one fourth teaspoon of Black Pepper Powder.
Add honey as per sweetness required. Check if the grapes are already sweet before adding honey. If the grapes are sour you may add honey.
You may add small amount of water if required. I have not added.
Cover the jar with its lid.
Blend to form a smooth puree.

Now, place a strainer over a glass jar and pour the grapes puree over it to strain and collect the juice.

Note that we have got 200 ml of juice from 250 grams of Red Grapes. No water added.
Pour in a serving glass.

You may garnish the juice with few Mint leaves. I didn’t have them, so I didn’t.
Add ice cubes if required.

Enjoy the healthy and tasty, homemade Red Grapes juice.
