INGREDIENTS:

(1) 14 Strawberries, chopped into pieces

Note :

  • Take boiled and  chilled Milk
  • You may cool the Strawberries in the refrigerator before preparing the milkshake. In that case, you will not need ice cubes.

The pictures of the ingredients used are given below.

METHOD:

(1) Rinse and wash the Strawberries. Here I have taken 14 strawberries for the Milkshake and 2 strawberries for decorating the serving glasses.

(2) Hull the 14 Strawberries and chop them into small pieces. I have shown some.

Slicing off the green leafy part is called hulling the Strawberries.

(3) Put the chopped strawberries in a bowl.

(4) Add 10 teaspoons of Sugar.

Mix well.

(5) Keep this mixture in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours or in the freezer for 30 minutes.

This procedure will help to make the chopped strawberries bright red in colour.

(6) Now take the bowl with mixture out of the refrigerator and mix well.

(7) Put the mixture in the jar of the blender or the mixer grinder.

Cover the blender with its lid.

(8) Blend for 30 seconds or more to form a smooth puree of strawberries.

If it gets stuck while blending, then open the lid, stir with a spoon and blend again.

The strawberries with release their water and now you can easily blend them. I have not added milk at this stage as that will cause the strawberries to remain coarse and not puree.

(9) Open the lid.

Add Strawberry ice-cream.

(10) Add boiled and cooled milk. 300 ml now and 200 ml later. Then blend for 30 seconds.

(11) Add remaining milk.

Churn for 30 seconds until frothy.

(12) Here’s Strawberry Milkshake ready! See how smooth and frothy it is!

(13) I have taken two tall serving glasses.

(14) Pour the Strawberry Milkshake into the tall serving glasses and serve immediately.

(15) Decorate the serving glasses with strawberries as shown.

(16) Top the milkshake with a scoop of Strawberry ice-cream.

Enjoy the delicious Homemade Strawberry Milkshake with ice-cream.
